Air Fryer Roast Potatoes
Roast potatoes are the stable ingredient to any Sunday dinner, and most people would generally agree that the crispier the potato, the better.
Thanks to the way that air frying works, roast potatoes are perfect for air frying as they come out crispy all over but soft on the inside. Add some seasoning and herbs, and you’ll have roasties that everyone around the dinner table will love.
Serves: 4
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Ingredients list:
- 500g of new potatoes, halved
- 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning (optional)
- Coarse salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Lemon wedge for serving
- Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
Place the halved potatoes in a large bowl, and add in the oil, garlic powder and cajun seasoning. Season further with salt and pepper.
Add the potatoes to your air fryer bowl (or basket) and cook for 12 minutes. If your air fryer doesn’t have a stirring paddle feature, give the basket a shake and stir. Cook for 12-15 minutes until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.
Just before serving, add a squirt of lemon juice and garnish the potatoes with the chopped parsley.

Air Fryer Potato Wedges
Serves: 4

Cooking time: 35 minutes
Home-cooked wedges are a treat most people will love as they’ll take great and are easy to prepare and cook. For this recipe, we’ll show you how to cook wedges with chilli seasoning for a little kick.
Ingredients list:
- 2 medium baking potatoes
- 1.5 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ parsley flakes
- ½ teaspoon of chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Cut the potatoes into wedges and rinse in cold water. Place the wedges in a large bowl and mix in the paprika, chilli powder, parsley plus the salt and pepper. Put the wedges into the air fryer bowl (or basket) and cook for 20 minutes. Shake the basket and flip the wedges and cook for a further 15 minutes until they are golden brown and soft in the middle. Serve with a dip of your choice, and enjoy.
